Direct Healthcare Group (DHG) has hired Manchester-based Future to handle its corporate PR account and publicity for CEO, Graham Ewart.
The healthcare company is a global leader in the manufacture and provision of medical devices across Europe, Asia, North America and Australasia and works with 35 NHS Trusts across the UK.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, it equipped the NHS with over 3,000 surfaces and beds in addition to providing emergency rentals and equipment to the NHS Nightingale hospitals.
Future will manage DHG’s corporate communications and profiling to support its continuing growth, drive stakeholder interest and cement its position as a global innovator in healthcare.
The agency has been appointed as DHG forecasts a turnover of £89.4m (49.5% growth) for 2021, following a strong 2020 in which it reported a full year turnover of £59.8m and completed a number of acquisitions across Europe.
It holds 15% market share across the continent for its sector.
Nina Sawetz, MD at Future, said, “Demonstrated by their exceptional growth forecasts, Direct Healthcare has a huge global presence in healthcare and I am delighted to be working with them.”
“The support they have given the NHS during the Covid pandemic has been exceptional, and I look forward to working closely with them to drive corporate comms strategy in the year ahead.”
