We are very proud to announce that we have partnered with The Street Soccer Foundation to handle its PR on a pro-bono basis.
As our chosen charity for 2019, Future will manage the Foundation’s PR and communications, helping to grow awareness of their much-needed work nationwide and amongst the football and business community.
The Street Soccer Foundation provides 10-week development programmes for vulnerable and homeless young people across the UK.
Supporting them over a sustained period of time, it provides a fusion of professional football training for health and well-being purposes, positive mindset coaching, as well as employability-driven workshops, with 1-to-1 mentoring support offered throughout and beyond delivery as needed. All to enable course participants to be ready and able to move into Work, Education or Further Training on successful graduation.
Since our launch in 2017, we have proudly supported charities for free. Working with domestic violence charities over the past two years, we’ve now extended our vision having become acutely aware of the issue of homelessness in the UK. We’re thrilled to be working with The Street Soccer Foundation to help tackle the issue and support some of the most vulnerable young people across the country.
“Homelessness is an isolating and destructive experience and homeless young people are one of the most vulnerable and socially excluded groups in our society. Our work with community teams of professional football clubs from the Premier League and EFL enable us to do something positive for young people experiencing youth homelessness and youth unemployment in the UK.
We’re pleased to have Future on board to help us and look forward to working together over the next year.”
