Nina Sawetz, Founder and MD of Future, has nearly two decades experience in public relations, launching Future in 2017 to work direct with executive-level, high profile leaders. Working alongside a dedicated group of expert consultants, the firm’s experience combines journalism, political advisory, research and media image expertise.

Crisis and Issues Management

Combining first class media expertise and communication skills, with legal and political acumen, Nina has assisted clients on a wide range of issues, including protests, legal cases, injury and death in the workplace, financial results and shareholder disputes, and Royal and Prime Ministerial visits. 

As a crisis management advisor, her cases have included handling protocol for political party conferences, Extinction Rebellion protests, celebrity legal cases and subsequent media attention, and national sector responses to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Nina was born and raised near London, UK, and has lived in Manchester for over seven years. Prior to Future, she worked in communications for the BBC and in agency at Frank and Bottle PR where she became Director of Consumer. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Manchester. 

An experienced voice on brand reputation and crisis, Ms Sawetz has been featured in numerous national publications including The Times, The Telegraph, ITV News, LBC and PR Week. She also speaks at events and to corporate boards, academic institutions, and other professional groups.

She has previously provided pro-bono consultancy to charity organisations including Safe Passage, The Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity, and Refuge.

Nina was named Corporate and Financial Communications Professional of the Year by PR Week in 2022, and has led Future to multiple award wins including PR Moment’s Corporate Campaign of the Year and PR Agency of the Year by Prolific North.
